Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 12:45 PM San Bruno's City Government is suffering from the "too many chiefs and not enough indians" syndrome. One of the major factors responsible for San Bruno's growing operational budget deficit, now estimated to be somewhere between $1 million to $2 million per year, is that we have too many "managers" at desks shuffling papers being fed huge salaries, with platinum benefit and perk packages, and not enough rank and file City employees on the street delivering services directly to the people.
